Aceh Documentary is an institution of film education, production, and appreciation, and film development research, especially documentary. Since 2013, it has continued to improve the communities’ capacity building in all aspects of film. It also encourages the use of the film medium in social, environmental, educational, and cultural campaigns.

Layar Taman is a film exhibition community in Palembang founded in 2014 by several Palembang film activists. Over time, Layar Taman has not only become a community that screens films, but also a forum for discussion, education, and even production through collaboration between film communities in Palembang and South Sumatra. Some of its activities are Sabtu Sinema (Film Review), Kelas Film (Film Class), Ngopi (Film Talk), Summer Class (Workshop & Pitching Forum), and film production collaboration.

In the midst of Sukabumi’s hustle and bustle, Rumah Mesra is here to become an exploration space for anyone to create, express, and play. As a creative space, Rumah Mesra started as a comfortable place to chat, create, hold events, eat and drink, relax, and find creative ideas.

Museum Huruf was established based on shared anxiety and desire as young people to be able to create a dialectic space for the next generation of the nation. Museum Huruf champions the spirit to preserve the archipelago’s scripts and opens up the insights into the history and development of the scripts and the culture from which a script originates. This community was initiated by Ade Sidiq Permana and Erik Wijayanto together with the design house Mixmedia (Jember) in 2016.

Kupang Film Community is an independent film community founded on the spirit of collectivism to build the diversity of Indonesian cinema, especially in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. Engaged in the production, education, exhibition, and distribution of films. Through various activities such as film workshops, this community produces short films (fiction and documentaries) and creates a space for film appreciation and discussion.

Rumah Film Walang Kreatif is one of the film communities in Ambon which was founded in 2016. The purpose of this community is to serve as a forum as well as a learning medium for young filmmakers who have competence in film, both fiction and documentary.

The GUSDURian Network is a cultural, open, non-practical political network consisting of individuals and/or communities who support the thoughts, emulate the character, values, and principles, and strive to continue Gus Dur's struggle under the coordination of the Bani Abdurrahman Wahid Foundation. The GUSDURian Network National Meeting (Tunas) is a biennial agenda organized to bring together family, friends, students, and admirers of Gus Dur's thoughts to discuss together strategic issues that become the basis for moving in the life of nation, state, and religion.
